I just discovered shanghaiist (am a regular reader of gothamist and ess-fist). i've been in shanghai for a couple weeks now. I read about the blind men massage thing - I am curious to check it out now!

Yup, shanghai's definitely a lovely place. one can even have a full time "ayi" at just RMB 800 a month......where in the world could you get this lovely services?

Great job on the site thus far - I miss Shanghai - hope to go back next year. Only this time, I hope I don't get sick. If I lived in Shanghai, in addition to the maid I'd have blind people rub my back daily as well. That was quite the treat.
