Jackie Chan wants to pump (clap!) you up

We all know that Jackie Chan wants to marry off Shanghainese women to foreign men. Now we know how he's going to enact his plan -- he's going to whip those Shanghainese girls into shape! Chan opened his first Jackie Chan Sport Club in Hong Kong on Friday. He is planning on opening gyms in Beijing and Shanghai, too:

"I want to use exercises to change people's lives," Chan said at the opening. ... He said young people today "use too much (of their) time surfing the Internet and playing computer games. They forget that exercising should be a big part of their lives."

"If you don't exercise, your body will keep deteriorating," he said.

He has developed a unique blend of kung fu and boxing called Jackie Chan "Boxercise" for the gym, a partnership with the U.S.-based California Fitness health club chain.

Wow. Boxing and kung fu. That does sound unique.
