Lucky 13: Two new Ps enter the pod

phillyparis.jpgGothamist sure does get around. Seems like only yesterday we here at Shanghaiist got all gussied up for the globe. And today, we're happy to welcome two more wonderful cities into the fold:

Bonjour Parisist.

Yo Phillyist.

Shanghaiist actually used to live in Philadelphia -- well, nearby in a place called Conshohocken ... which forever will be "the next Manayunk" -- and right now we are really, really craving a trip to Jim's Steaks. Shanghaiist's last trip to Paris was in 10th grade, during a high school French class trip. And a quick perusal of Parisist's site reveals that our five years spent studying French were not spent studying hard enough.

So, welcome you two. You both officially have a couch to crash on in Shanghai.

  • Thanks ! Although I must say we in parisist are a bit jealous of the three consecutive vowels thing ... But anyway, thanks and same thing for the couch in Paris !

  • Lived in Conshy, eh? I maintain that the way to tell whether or not someone's a true Philadelphian is to make them spell "Schuylkill" and "Conshohocken.'

    Nice to see that Phily's got its own -ist site. Now how about Beijing?
