Everybody is kung fu fighting (are they fast as lightning?)

Kung Fu Show.jpgIt’s a known fact, kung fu is cool. Any dude that can take on 20 bloodthirsty enemies at once earns the respect due a master warrior in our book. So why not enjoy a free exhibition of local kung fu shi fu's at The Summit, September 17. Don’t be fooled by the flyer's picture of old, peaceful men in pink pajamas doing taiji quan, as Ivy Zhang of the Mandarin House assures us, they can still kick-ass:

When simply measuring entertainment value, few live performances are as exciting as Kung Fu. It is incredibly entertaining to watch, as young students and old masters fly through the air attacking no less than 20 opponents at any one time. Entertainment aside, Kung Fu is also a discipline, and it is healthy for both the mind and body as Kung Fu can enhance people’s flexibility, accuracy, strength, and internal fortitude!

Mandarin House is proud to present Shanghai Gui-Ting Internal Stress Boxing Association Kung Fu group. The Gui-Ting Kung Fu group will hold a demonstration at our Downtown Campus, The Summit, at 16:00 Saturday Sept. 17th.

The Program will include: Tai Ji Quan, Xing Yi Quan, Wu Dang Gong Fu, Qi Gong, Family Boxing, Internal Stress Boxing, etc. Guests can also participate in some basic instruction and fun games.

The Kung Fu Show is a free performance sponsored by the Mandarin House, Saturday September 17, 4 pm at The Summit, Lane 99 Central Urumqi Lu (across Changle Lu). RSVP with Alan Sun at 5204-0429 and bring the kids.
