ESWN seem to be missing the point somewhat, don't they. Yes, Mr Joffe-Walt is obviously rather overenthusiastic, and it's questionable whether his report should have been printed in that form, but does it matter whether the man's eyeball REALLY fell out? He was beaten by thugs hired by the local government. That is unquestioniable fact.

Tried to google Guangdong Taishi in Chinese, the search reaches no results and google was immediately in malfunction for 2 minutes, tried Taishi (still in Chinese), there are 242,000 results but none of the pages can be opened. That says all to me.
