Move over i -- there's a new Pod in town

For those of you who have been dying to converse with the Chinese world around you but find it difficult to learn the language when you are unable to separate yourself from your iPod earbuds, the solution to your problem may have finally arrived in the form of ChinesePod.

ChinesePod is a self-described "online tool to help you study Chinese" which enables you to listen to free daily podcasts on your phone, mp3 player or computer.

Sound to good to be true? You haven't even heard it yet! Shanghaiist recommends Lesson 21: Exchanging Personal Info for those trying to make an impression in a hurry. On the other hand, if you are too busy listening to the new DangerDoom or Go! Team albums (both recommended by Shanghaiist) to interrupt your iPod flow, then you might want to consider the old-fashioned method of learning Chinese: stop listening to music and start paying attention to the world around you.
