The Chinese Communist Party is totally unqualified to say anything about democratic values and institutions. Who elected them to rule such a great and important country? The Peking regime has no claim to legitimacy if you believe that the people should rule by their chosen representatives. The people of China would be well advised to follow the lead of their free cousins on Taiwan, who are fortunate enough to have democratic self-rule.
