Although I know the picture shows part of the story, I meant to say that the whole video of it was on TV, including the "quip". It wasn't on CCTV, but rather on Dong Fang Dian Shi Tai. Um.. what's that in English? Oriental Channel? Sorry I'm not sure.

Yes, but I wouldn't say there was an obvious door behind him, it was more like he had to squeeze between two Chinese screens. Bush had just finished commnets from himself and Chinese officails, after finding the locked door e quipped "I thought this would be a way escape". I don't think they showed that on CCTV

Did anyone see the clip on last nights news (in Chinese) where Bush finished a speech and walked toward a door to leave --- but it was locked? He shook it and made a face, but he just couldn't get out... until he realized that there was a more obvious exit behind him.
