Shanghai LiRen hospital has declared (article in Chinese) that the number of foreign patients this month was more than 5 percent of the overall patients they saw, (up 1 percent from last month), so they have launched a consulting hotline, which will deal with foreigners' problems, the number is 5515-9666. (We're not sure why this has solely been advertised in Chinese news sources)

You may find this number useful if you make Chinese boys jealous by attracting the interest of some young hottie that they like, and they hack you up with swords.

Most suspects in the attack, which was the bitter ending of an online teenage romance, are younger than 18. Officials said the boy, whom they would identify only by the pseudonym Jin Ping, and a suspect they identified by the surname Fu had been fighting in cyberspace for the affections of a girl surnamed Zhao.

Jin and Fu talked online and agreed to meet near Hudong Workers' Palace to sort the matter out. Zhao happened to be at Fu's home with other friends when the online chat took place, the police said. Fu and his friends thought Jin was trying to make trouble, so they summoned more than 20 friends by online messenger or phone to go to the meeting with Jin.

When Jin and his two friends arrived at the palace, he was attacked by more than 10 young men who hacked him with swords. They fled after Jin fell to the ground.
