Fabric market bids adieu to Dongjiadu Lu

shanghaifabricmarket2.jpgToday's popular Shanghai market that is on the move is the Dongjiadu Lu Fabric Market, which will relocate to a nearby indoor location starting in ... less than two weeks! So, add that to the list. All of this shuffling around would be very confusing and annoying if you were, say, a freelance writer working on a story about places to go shopping in Shanghai. Arghhhh.

According to the Shanghai Daily story, the market's new address will be 399 Lujiabang Lu and it will be called Shanghai South Bund Fabric Market. The new 10,000-square-meter facility will be completely indoors and will start "trial operation" on April 1.
