Raise your hand if you don't have a video blog

Seems video blogs are popping up all over the place. We already told you about Danwei TV, the video blogging effort byone of our favorite blogs, Danwei. Well, they are back with a second episode -- "Extra! Extra! Read all about it!" -- which shows what you might find at the typical Beijing news stand. We enjoy these videos because they are professional, informative and subtly hilarious (Jeremy is no longer filing stories from construction sites, but he still wears his hard hat ... and you gotta love that microphone). You can watch the video below:

Our friends at ChinesePod have also started a very professional looking video blog. They call it VideoHotpot. Their first effort is amusing at times (for the right reasons?) and the student of elementary Mandarin should learn something from it. The video is also worth watching if you are feeling bad about your own Chinese pronunciation ... it's probably better than the guys featured in the video (but they know that):

And, finally, this morning Sinosplice introduced us to Ron Sims, an American video blogger in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. He takes a look at Fuzhou street food and tries to answer the age old question: Can a black man get a decent haircut in China?
