Corruption exists everywhere in Chinese society, but it hits sport more than other institutions because people can choose not to go to watch it. I follow Shenhua because they are real; in a city full of pretention and falseness fan groups like the Blue Devils know Chinese football is deeply unfashionable but they don't give a damn, they just love their football, they are true, and are as passionate as fans anywhere else.
