From Shanghaiist reader Owen:

If you want to check out some graffiti in Shanghai re development there are some local compounds just south of Xintiandi that have recently been condemned and when I walked past there were a bunch of characters with a line through them. My Chinese isn't great but I don't think they were complementary. Have a walk along the two blocks on Fuxing Lu between Huangpi Lu and Danshui and you may well come across some. In Zentral's neighbourhood.
