BlackBerry vs. RedBerry: Wall Street Journal chimes in

rim.jpgThe Wall Street Journal has finally picked up on the BlackBerry/RedBerry fight in China -- maybe they have been reading Shanghaiist? Nah. Maybe? WSJ’s online edition has an interesting article here (in Chinese) if you want to find out the latest goings-on in the “War of the Berries”.

What caught our eyes, however, was a poll the paper conducted, asking its readers whether the name “RedBerry” constitutes a trademark infringement. Surprisingly, of the 86 people who voted so far, 51 said “no”. We suspect 50 of those people work for China Unicom, and the other guy must be on crack.

You can voice your opinion here. Extra points if you use your BlackBerry PDA.
