What will architects dream up next for Shanghai?

Here's a couple ideas:

We pulled these images from a forum post entitled "ShangHai Projects" over at SkyscraperCity.com. The post is almost a year old, and a couple of the projects listed are complete or nearing completion. Most, though, we have never heard of and know nothing about. Still interesting to look at the artists' renditions, however -- and if you look close enough you will notice that the Shanghai of the not-so-distant future will evidently have very few Chinese people.

The top image above, we have no idea what it is, but it looks to be in Pudong. The bottom image was labeled "Culture Park" (文化公园), and you can read more about that planned (?) project in the same site's "Shanghai Construction thread," which discusses, at length, the changing face of Shanghai.
