Concert organizers say Rock for Charity showcases “a collaboration between Shanghai’s underground music scene and energetic, crowd-pleasing teenage rock bands.” They continue:
Organized by students and teachers of Shanghai international schools and in cooperation with DDM Warehouse this year, the event will be donating all of its profits to Shanghai Sunrise. Funding donated from this event will be used to assist underprivileged Chinese children in meeting their most basic needs as well as providing for their educational and medical requirements.
Shanghaiist wonders if DDM Warehouse plans on setting up a “nap room.” With the Roller Revival, the Brunch Happy Hour and an all day concert, it seems like its going to be a long (but fun) weekend.
