We know, we know. We hate filling out online surveys, too. But this one is for a good cause: Us. (And it’s totally anonymous and takes less than five minutes to complete.)
Since we’re all friends here, we’ll be upfront and totally honest about why we’d like you to fill our our Reader Survey: We are tired of being poor. We’d like to sell some ads so our poorly paid contributors can eat a decent meal every now and then. Call us greedy.
To help sell ads, we need to know more about you, our readers. So that is why we would like you to take five minutes to fill out our Reader Survey (remember, this survey is totally anonymous.)
Some have asked, “Why should I fill out your survey? What’s in it for me?” We’re sorry that we can’t give you anything for filling out the survey. If we did, that would eliminate the anonymity of the survey. But more importantly: We are poor. And we can’t afford to give you anything. Which brings us back to the main point of this post:
Please fill out the Shanghaiist Reader Survey.
The information you provide will help Shanghaiist grow and improve. And hopefully that benefits everyone in the long run.
Thanks in advance for your help!
