Shanghaiist 80s Happy Hour: Leave with extra underwear

The prize package for best 80s outfit at our Happy Hour this Friday sure is heating up. In addition to a bottle of Solid XS Vodka donated by our host Freelance Bar & Grill, the lucky winner will also get two items kindly donated by the self-described "sexiest menswear store in Shanghai" -- MANifesto. (We will force the winner to take a couple Shanghaiist T-shirts off our hands, as well.)

The MANifesto prizes are an Italy tanktop from Private Structure's "Football Fever" collection and "Summer Heat," the latest print design from Australian label DT Underwear. The latter sells for RMB 170 at MANifesto, which, by the way, is currently looking for models.

Vodka. Sexy men's underwear. Hmmmm ... Sounds like the makings of a future Shanghaiist Happy Hour. Shamus, call up Princes of the Night!

When: Friday, July 28, 7 pm - 11 pm (that's when the special ends ... we're sure we'll stay longer than that)

Where: Freelance Bar & Grill. 45 Yueyang Lu, by Dongping Lu (岳阳路45号,近东平路)

Drink Specials: 20 RMB for Tsingtao vodka, gin, rum, bourbon, scotch and mixers. Juices and sodas, RMB 20, as well. Guinness and Strongbow draft, 50 RMB. Heineken draft, 35 RMB. House wine, 35 RMB.

Free Food: Thai Spring Rolls, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Chicken Quesadillas and Mini Portabella Mushroom Burgers.
