• Say it ain't so: China will eradicate Chinglish signs but luckily, this is only happening in Beijing.
• Oops -- 200 tons of sulfuric acid fell into the Grand Canal near Hangzhou.
• First, the Middle East, and now this: America is threw its weight around and managed to get the swimming finals for the Olympics to be held at 10am in the morning. Swimmers cannot go as fast then, but this way most Americans can catch it on TV (though people in Hawaii will probably still be at work)
• "Through the Moebius Strip," China's most expensive animated film to date hit theaters on Friday. Strangely, the film is in English with Chinese as as second language.
• Hong Kongers have the least amount of sex in the world, according to a report from Pfizer, makers of Viagra. However, Hong Kongers derive more pleasure from this infrequent act (less than once a week) than do Italians.

• According to the People's Daily recent events in the Middle East prove that the "world's policeman" is not being responsible.
