Maybe in the fact that the flyer is all in English, and that it's being advertised on the English section of SmartShanghai and not on the Chinese one? And who does the RMB 300 ticket price suggest this event is aimed at? so you are saying that only chinese women can afford 300 RMB and read english? that makes sense. or are you saying that only white bachelors read english? that makes sense too. some people, regardless of skin color or gender, don't mind spending a little money to help out a good cause.

Well, I doubt the cast of white, male bachelors will consist of very few Tom Cruise, Pierce Brosnan or Brad Pitt lookalikes. More like Tom Bruise, Pierce Broadbutt and Brad Shitt, who all frequent Kangaroo bar, Hengshan road or simply trawl the company pond.

I suppose just one instance of a Chinese 'whore' bidding for a 'garbage' white guy will be enough to get the riots going. Interesting that this and similar openly publicised events will (rightly) get no hammering, yet private decisions of consenting adults do.

yeah, the chinese male crowd should love watching chinese women throw money at white guys. I suppose there could be a diplomatic effort to auction dates with single, middle aged local, middle income local men and male peasant laborers, they'll all wear their best suits with the big fat label on the sleeve.
