Video of the Day: A 1 minute 16 second Chinese meal
Via Sinosplice, we learned of this 76-second time-lapse video of a Chinese meal. Fun stuff. The video doesn't appear to have been taken in China. Sure, we have white people and forks here, but the tell-tale sign is the soda can that appears 22 seconds into the video -- it's got a "stay tab" instead of a "pull tab." (More info on the difference can be found here. We like this bit: "Stay tabs (also called ecology tabs) were introduced by the Falls City Brewing Company of Louisville, KY in 1975, partly to prevent the injuries caused by removable tabs. Stay tabs almost completely replaced pull tabs by the early 1980s." Not in China.) We liked watching the little kid on the left -- he gets off to a really strong start, but fades midway (when the food really starts arriving).
