Not that we’ve ever not loved the, erm, “Chinese Version” of products (who doesn’t love an
OREO ORECE cookie every now and then?), but to know that you can now enjoy the taste of (Chinese) coffee combined with (Chinese) Coke is … awesome. We bring you “Coffee-Cola.”
Coca-Cola introduced the already-over caffeinated public to “BlaK” about a year ago (“Coke Effervesence with Coffee Essence” — catchy) to a slew of criticism. Some even claimed that enough of it would send you to that great coffee/cola shop in the sky. So far, the only harmful side-effect is that a few of these will keep you up past 4 am — which means you’re going to end up at Windows Jing’an … again.
The drink retails for 3 kuai at your local store — just be sure ask for “Coffee-Cola” and not its original counterpart, as that had our local gal offer up tanning oil.
