I know I'm a bit late to comment on this blog, and probably no one's ever gonna read this, but just in case there are late-comers, uh, reader, like me to Shanghaiist...

Anyway, I found a TON of cereal at Metro (a bit far, but well worth the trip if you like your cereal like we do). I even found Frosted Mini Wheats for RMB39, instead of RMB68 at the City Shoppe. Woot!

I have tasted it almost 6 or 7 years ago, for some investigation, it's good but it has disappeared ever since. I'm really curious why it takes them so long to put it on the market.

For all you Pudong pickers out there, genuine Kellogg's Corn Flakes and Frosties (but alas, no Coco Pops) were sighted in the Lotus Supercentre on the corner of YanGao Road and Yangjing Road, just a spit northwards of the Thumb Plaza Carrefour, which only stocks German facsimiles. Twas around 11 yuan for a small box. Will confirm tomorrow, for it is pay day.

Now all I need is a cow.
