Just goes to show, these blogs are not worth the bit code they're written with. I have said it once and I will say it again. Blogs are just a new medium for failed wannabe writers/authors. In the old days you sent your manuscript to the publisher and you got your rejection slip in the postbox. Now you simply publish these failed ramblings on the internet. Good grief. Finally some realistic assessment of their market value,,, ie pretty much zilch.
Simon (so the Saint is alive and visiting Shanghai Blogs?),
Who says bloggers want to be published writers?
I couldn't give 2 hoots about getting anything published, I write some stuff that is relevant to my chosen topic, as much a record for me as anything, and if other people care to read it then I'm happy to help & share.
Mostly its a bit of fun from people who feel like writing.
And, if it is just a bunch of failed ramblings with no value - why are you reading this blog (Shanghaiist) and why do you care enough to waste your important manuscript writing time leaving comments on a blog?
shanghaiist.com, is worth $291,867.18
It looks like I should have put on a higher opening bid!!
