I was eating dinner with some friends on Sunday when I found out they were in town again. I literally got up from the table, Cuban(sandwich) still in hand, and ran for a taxi. I got there just in time to snag some decent seats, though Dan's were better. (I was coveting your booth Dan, sorry) My dinner companions joined me with the other half of my Cuban(sandwich) and we knocked back a few Hoegardens while we waited for things to get started. It was worth the trouble. I also went to the show last night at JZ and while it was not as good as the show at the Cotton Club, it was still an amazing experience.
