Yann Tiersen at Shanghai Concert Hall

Another gig -- one that helps pay the bills -- had us looking up things to do in Shanghai next month. We stumbled upon this. And we have been watching videos of French musician Yann Tiersen ever since. The guy is amazing. We had heard his music before -- he has scored films like Amelie and Good Bye Lenin! -- but never knew his name. He's playing the Shanghai Concert Hall on December 4 ... and we are buying our tickets tomorrow. Check out his official website and his Answers.com bio. Ticket info is here.

The video above was one of our favorites.
