GigShanghai/GigLive: We never left!

After a few shaky weeks (internally speaking) we're almost back to form, a bit too knackered to write, so we’ll we’ll truncate:

GigLive has, and is still, going on every Wednesday night at BonBon -- and this week was one of the better shows, with Pink 7, Mint and 3 Yellow Chicken. One of the things we’ve changed is how the show is broadcast. What was once a fancy set-up in the VIP room is now a from-the-floor show, with less talk and more of a chance to hear Shanghai’s underground bands. (This also explains the shit sound quality of the voiceovers on this week’s show -- sorry -- music’s good though). Hit play:

While it’s more of a music based podcast now, instead of dialog, up-to-date musical news and uncanny wit, there is something big about to kick-off in about seven weeks. We can’t say too much about it now, but it will make these little podcasts seem … well, not as good as what we're about to do, that's what.

Best bet for the weekend: MC Mojo, The Lab and more taking over the Live Bar stage on Saturday.
