Shanghaiist is getting in the holiday mood–it’s December, it’s cold, and Christmas gifts are beginning to be bought! (Though not by us. We’ve thought about it–does that count?)
We can’t write long, as we’re about to head out to a fun, festive holiday dinner at — Dongbeiren? Well, we are Shanghaiists after all.
Before we go though, we want to share a tip our friend Ryan shared with us regarding the ultimate holiday accessory … a Christmas tree!
Christmas trees — real trees — are available for sale at the Yongjia Flower Market, located (counter-intuitively, of course) on Shaanxi Nan Lu No. 406, near Fuxing Lu (陕西南路406号在复兴中路).
There may be other sellers, but we know of one. Here are the details:
Ms. Zhu Ye, Tel: 51581331 or 13023189560, Second Floor, Stall No. 2-17
What you get:
A 6 ft tree (Ryan said, “Real tree. Not pine, tho. Pine look-a-like”), three poinsettia plants, and two wreaths for 330 RMB. Delivery is free.
Thanks for the tip, Ryan!
