It's actually still happening as we write this, so don't freak out of something looks a little strange (other than our photos on the Contributors page -- unfortunately there's nothing we can do about those).
Our new look: Like it? Love it? Hate it?

And a big thanks to Neil in New York for doing all the heavy lifting.

Yeah, looks more professional. Nice.
Shanghaiist 2.0!
Looks good to me, except I don't like the menu on the left, it should be on the right... Otherwise: good change, good makeover!
Personally I think its a bit too blue for me, but I guess the change is nice.
I think the last format was a lot cleaner. The current design will hurt the presentation of your content.
The old design was much nicer to the eye...and made your articles more atracting...
I feel there's too much contrast between th solid blue and white. It makes the google ads stand out and, hem... I think I'd prefer some background color with the article. I do appreciate the changes, however.
"Too much contrast" is dead-on!
Sorry, friends, this is an eye-sore!
It really is harder to read this site now. The formatting for the articles looks off too. Maybe it's just firefox?
I don't view the site change as an improvment on the old.
I like the change, it looks better, BUT the formatting of the picture and the first line of text in each article is screwed. I'm using Firefox 2.0.
