YUXIN is the only place in the list i have been to,its "SHUI ZHU YU" is my favorite.

@ Pete - yes thanks for the reminder, it's been a while since we were at Dongbei Ren ... going next week again. @ Fred - Rendezvouz is hit and miss, yes, and it seems the quality is going down after they opened with really good stuff. In fact, I'll replace it soon as I find something better. Fixed the mispelling, btw, thanks. And regarding "know good food/critic" -- suppose that's a bit lazy on my part but I don't feel the need to elaborate in this case, I just wanted to tell my readers I'm not a rookie -- and I'm sick of reading responses like "you don't like/know chinese food?"

Shanghai Uncle isn't so bad, at least its clean and neat, and the food isn't THAT oily. Probably the only edible shanghainese style restaurant in town.

Pretty sure it is not Rendezvous Cafe since he says it is a Singaporean restaurant in the Grand Gateway Mall.

Anyone who says they "know good food" is a pretentious tosser. Plus 'worked as a food critic' = had no particular skills or talent, so wrote about food. But enough of the character assassination. Charmant - it's great as everyone knows. Rendezvouz is absolutely f**king sh*te.

I haven't heard of any of those places... I would like to add Dongbei Ren
