Huge warning labels on Chinese cigarette packs
We spotted these yesterday (they are hard to miss) in a shop on Shimen Er Lu near Fengxian Lu. Notice, of course, that the warnings are in English — these cigarettes are intended for sale in Australia and Europe, not China. Still, amusing to see these packs on the streets of Shanghai.
The Chunghua were 30 kuai and the Double Happiness were 7.5. We have little use for the packs after having photographed them, so if you see us on the street we will gladly give you a free cigarette.
Here is something to ponder, though: Do people really buy Chinese cigarettes in Australia and Europe?
