Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court — Judge Wapner works over at No. 1 — recently began hearing the case of of a Chongming County woman, surnamed Huang, who admitted to killing an elderly woman who was in her care last may, Xinhua reports:
"She never ate vegetables, only meat and fish," Huang told the court. "Furthermore, she would easily become infuriated when she discovered that dinner's menu was the same as lunch.""I borrowed a great sum of money to support Shi's living and treatment fee," Huang told the court. "I couldn't bear it any more."
In addition to being "too picky about the food she was served" the elderly woman, surnamed Shi, also "was very bad-tempered." And so she deserved to die.
The story did not say how the lady was murdered (details, details) but it did say why she was residing in Huang's home — and it's a doozy. Evidently, Huang's daughter hit Shi with her bike, fracturing her leg. The Huangs couldn't afford to pay the medical bill so the two families agreed to have Shi stay in Huang's home for a three-month treatment period. But after three months, doctors said Shi still needed six months of treatment.
So Huang killed her.

Wow.
Well, we all know what will happen to Huang.
