Photos of Old Shanghai

There are plenty of books and websites that have old pictures of Shanghai, so it's not as if the following is any great discovery, but internet photo slideshows are still nice. We found this particular slideshow on a blog. It seems that even in 1934, Shanghai already had double-decker bus. Judging from the picture, they also had a sh*tload of rain and/or bad drainage system back then. There are other interesting photos in the set, including pictures of the old racetrack and Nanjing Lu.
