Formula: if you even bothered to read the article (not to mention the preceding posters' comments) you would know that the building was not designed by Chinese architects, but by a group in Copenhagen. Please be aware of what you are commenting on before trying to criticize next time.

This proposal seems pretty dead anyway. I've been following it for quite a while as I'm from the Copenhagen area and have known about BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) for a long time. I'd be surprised if this projects gets a go-ahead. Although, you never know in Shanghai. Be sure to check out forum.skyscraperpage.com as well. Great forum.

There is already a building like that and actually a pretty prestigious: the new Party School in Pudong. I have been there and talked to the architects a few years ago. Pretty amazing building.
