Last Friday night, Shanghaiist dusted off its finest flannelette shirt in anticipation for the 4Live performance of Brooklyn band Locksley.
We were pretty impressed by the band – as was the crowd on the evening. The audience’s repeated encore call inspired Locksley to resort to the classic encore braking method of breaking into the B-list of ‘unfinished’ songs to allow a close to the night.
We would like to say we were so impressed that we were still in a state of paralytic awe from Friday evening until this afternoon. Well, maybe not that impressed, but we’ll stick by that statement in lieu of the tardiness on this follow-up.
Regardless. They played a great gig and are worth checking out if they return to our fair city.
Here’s a few photographs of the night we would like to share.
Kudos to Zooma at 4Live and promoter Michael Ohlsson for bringing this entertaining band to Shangers.
