Whatever. America, which has almost 100 years of car making experience have vehicles for sale now that perform as badly as that! For example the designers and engineers of the Chrysler Voyager minivan should to have safety as their top priority since families would be the main customers who would buy them; it scored ZERO for safety in frontal crashes conducted my Euro NCap. Now thats just hilarious because you guys talk shit about Chinese cars but you can't do it right yourselves.

It's not that the chinese don't know how to build a car, its that they cut so many corners in frame design and cut out so much steel to drive down costs. What is really sickening is that Chinese imports will only have a 2% import tax levied on them by the US gov't even though all foreign cars get 25% to 40% import taxes levied on them. I'm pretty sure that all imported european, Japanese and korean cars get higher than a 2% tax levied on them as well (or at least the parts for cars assembled in the US). "Funniest Home Videos" will reach an all time high in the US when people start sending in recordings of "my chinese car".

Actually the "Landwind" still has the worst crash test results in Europe. The only good thing about it was that it didn't start to burn (immediately). The Brilliance got one star (out of five). It should have gotten two but they had to take one away because the driver would normally die. The Landwind got no stars at all because nobody would survive in this heap of cheap steel. The Landwind is still being sold in China (no longer in Germany) so good luck! This is the result when somebody tries to copy a car that already was crap.

The Chery crash tests in Europe are on record the worst in EU history or any recorded western european country. And FT and Businessweek report that attempts to enter the US market this year have failed. Chinese cars suck.
