Purrrrfect pampering?

We have spent months upon months intrigued by pampering chain about town Chlitina and with humidity rising, we decided it was about time to savor their services and give our visage a little TLC.

Upon entering our local Chlitina (Dagu Road near Chengdu Road), we were greeted by a very enthusiastic lady, who thrust a menu into our hands and eagerly awaited our response. A quick peruse through and we decided to opt for the basic facial, which costs 180RMB for an hour – any upgrade and the fear factor of being “whitened” becomes too overwhelming.

The basic facial was not the kind of painful pick-your-pores-and-pimples experience that characterizes most. In fact, the best way to describe it would be a massage with facial perks (and blimey, they sure served up a good massage). Consequently, don’t expect your skin to feel completely stripped and polished by the end – if you want that effect, why not try Evian Spa? However, at those prices it was an incredibly relaxing hour and our skin certainly felt clean and soft for days to come. We would probably go again.
