Woman rams bike into bus

We don't know how it happened, but it did. No, wait a minute. With the driving/riding etiquette of people around here, we're actually surprised it didn't happen more often.

This woman, presumably hurrying her way to somewhere (the Chinese would say 赶去投胎, which literally means running off to her next reincarnation) couldn't stop in time when the lights turned red, and rammed her electric bike into the back of the bus. As a result, both the bike and her were stuck in the bus for a long while before the fire department actually arrived on the spot. A large part of the bus bumper had to be removed before the woman could be taken out. Thankfully she was not seriously injured (we think her bike actually saved her!), but we do hope for her own safety (and ours too) that she learnt some basic road manners out of this painfully embarrassing incident!

This story sounds familiar...

"Witnesses say the cyclist was going faster than 100 miles per hour when he crashed into the back of a semi truck between 81st and 91st Street at about one o'clock Tuesday morning.

Investigators say evidence shows the cyclist was going about 120 miles per hour at the time of the impact. It took the truck driver more than a quarter of a mile to come to a stop. When he did, he stepped out of his rig and found the motorcyclist dead at the back of the truck.

"The truck driver was not hurt," says Captain Matt Kirkland. "He said that the impact was so strong that he thought he was hit from behind by another truck."

Officers said there was no indication that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident."

China's cars are made out of evil, clearly.

Cyclists and motorbikers, remember, it's important in all circumstances to never EVER look where you're going or what's coming from the left or the right or in front of behind, and in no circumstance should you EVER pay attention to the color of those round light thinys at intersections, they're complicated and will probably just confuse you anyway.

China, 'The Darwin Awards' in full swing.

In my country, in fact most countries, ppl rush to the aide of the injured.
