Lovesick Japanese man finds mystery subway girl!
Remember the really creepy lovelorn Japanese man, Saitou Takuya (斋藤卓也) who was so madly in love with a girl he saw on the Beijing subway that he put up a video of her on the internet that he secretly took of her, asking people to help him find her? A number of commenters did wonder aloud if the whole thing was a spoof, but apparently not.
OK, we admit we're a tad late in finding this story but it appears that Takuya-san has found his dreamgirl! Also our fears that the girl could have been a tranny (since he did not seem to have seen the mystery subway girl's face) were all unfounded.
To find her, Takuya stood outside Jishuitan Station "six times this month holding a picture of the girl Xin Yu, just in case she reappeared at the station". It was not till about 2 weeks ago that he actually bumped into her wearing exactly the same clothes as she was wearing when he first saw her.
The girl told him that he was "funny" and that they could start out as friends. They have also since exchanged cell phone numbers and MSN addresses. And it appears Takuya-san, who has lived in Beijing since 1997, still remains as much in love. He said the girl was "very, very pretty", "has a great figure" and has "great morals":
I'm now more determined that she will be my love. She's simply perfect.

Ha Ha, stupid fatties. It didn't see his height listed, but it listed her height as 1.76 meters.
The original post seemed more corny than anything, but the new articles reveal that the guy is indeed a serious creep (and a fattie).

You guys are just jealous that he got the pretty girl and you don't have the guts to even dream! Sorry Ken, the girl did not turn out a TRANNY as you had hoped for. Although you claim that you're quite tran-friendly, you keep using the word "tranny" to imply fakery and undesirability. Can you grasp the concept? You're like "yeah she's hot but she could be a tranny!" implying that a tranny is everyone's worst nightmare and the end of the world. Bigotry!
I am so happy that he found his dream girl as I had hoped for! A man with the courage to pursue his dreams is far more attractive than the sour losers here, even for a fatty! It really made my day!

Guest 12: actually "a chick with a dick" is a slang term that's usually associated with shemales AND transvestites. Shemale and "chick with a dick" are actually just porn terms for pre-ops and non-ops (who look like girls, and usually have breasts) be they transvestites or transsexuals (but I doubt you’d find many transsexuals referring to themselves this way). What you described as a transvestite is actually a crossdresser. Transvestites often do more than dress as women, lots are full-time, some take hormones, have implants or other surgery, etc. The main difference between transvestites and transsexuals is the Why. Transvestites do it for stimulation/satisfaction (sexually or emotionally), while transsexuals do it because they believe they are female (or male for f2m) and are trying to align their outward appearance to their inner identity. These are just terms, and there are probably people who fall in between and all around these categories, but these are the generally used terms, and so if you're going to use them you should at least know what they are lest you might continue to sound like an idiot, especially when "correcting" others. By the way, transgendered is just a blanket term for everybody who's gender-nonconformant. :)
