Any where in particular to order the tickets on-line? Or will I have to wait a bit? And will the Fuxing Jazz be similar prices to Hop do you think? I think I'll be visiting Shanghai for the first time in almost 2 years what ever the case.

haha..sorry if the distance thing was misleading....ticket price for the Beach Rock festival will be kept low, but the organizer is still desprite for a sponsor to help cut loses so if any of you know a generous company let us know....the Hop festival will be 140rmb for students, 200rmb if bought in advance and 280rmb if bought at the gate. Rock-ing tickets range between 280rmb and 880rmb. Hope that helps.....will keep everyone updated on the lineups... abe

Any more info about Beach, Rocking and Hop would be sumptuously accepted by me. I would love to see a lot of the artists from those 3 festivals but am interested about tickets (do i need?) etc. so i can book the time off work (I live in Xi'an...).

to be a stickler for details: zjj hardly qualifies as countryside, while there is a big lake in a landscaped park and what used to be farmland around, it's still shanghai municipality...

The 2 hours was in reference to the time it took to get to the PREVIOUS 1234 Beach Rock Festival. The DISTANCE is the same....but Zhujiazhao is easier and quicker to reach. So hopefully more people will come out this year.

zhujiajiao is not two hours away. buses from xujiahui stadium take about an hour. chengdu lu dagu lu highway (gaosu) bus to qingpu takes 30 minutes/10kuai. from there you can cab or heiche (freelance cab) to zujiajio for 20 kuai in 5-10 minutes.

Suprised Faithless got invited. While not anti-China (that I know of), they have several politically charged songs. Cold Fairyland will be excellent.
