to be honest, if i was the school administration department; i would actually raise the food prices in order to make a substantial profit, and only allowing students that hold a student ID card that changes every few weeks to entitle a discount or issuing out coupons to students is another way.

What those white collar workers aren't saying is that going to the university cafeteria for food also gives them a chance to get to know some college chicks.

I think the people who said the food was good and the area was clean and are bringing them home for dinner looked like ayis or people of similar socioeconomic status

What is fascinating to me is that the white collar invaders interviewed said that the food in the cafeteria is not only cheap, but also clean and tastes good. Jiaotong U must be doing something right because I've never heard any other locals say that school cafeteria food tasted good, and at least here in Chongqing the students are always complaining about how they find "things" in their food.
