@ nanheyangrouchuan

Don't judge a book by its cover. The apartments are really terrific. A friend of mine bought three and joined them to create an absolutely stunning space with views of Pudong and along the Bund. Plus once the wealthy foreigners have bought out the last of the yokels, the building will get a facelift.

Other than being built by some famous foreigner this building looks like all of the other shit ugly commie concrete caverns that dot China and Russia.

I just lived nearby and i used to visit this place pretty regularly. The flats are old, thin but extremely long (just like in Russia) and i guess several families live in each appartment. There is also a small police station, a kindergarden, a barber and many other things. Most of the people living in it are working in the fake market just in front, which is getting bigger and bigger. Are they building a car-park on this pic? I have many inside pictures of the location if you guys are interested. jordanpouille(@)hotmail.com

The swimming pool sounds like a fine target for urban exploring.

I have some friends living in that building. In fact it's one of the most sort-after addresses in town. There's a swimming pool in the basement which has been closed off for decades.
