Look who's eating your instant noodles!

Three days ago, like a few million other Chinese people who have completely no regard for their own health, a girl decided to have instant noodles for dinner and bought a packet of Master Kong "Spicy Pork Noodles" (”康师傅”香辣肉酱面). Well guess what she found in one of her ingredient packs? An insect, alive and kicking, and having a veritable feast on the dried vege. Not only that, she also found the outer cuticles shed by the insect within the pack along with what appeared to be eggs. Apparently the pack of instant noodles was only produced on 15 August, so there was ample oxygen and nourishment within the pack for the insect to have survived three weeks.

A while ago, we told you about a man who found unidentified living objects in his unopened bottle of mineral water, so this news comes as no surprise. After all, we've been in China for five years and counting, survived many a food poisoning, and lived to tell about it. But honestly, if this happened to us, we'd go out and buy lottery at once rather not know what we put into our mouths!

Master Kong is a huge Taiwan-based conglomerate that has been in China for the longest time, and they make everything from instant noodles to bottled drinks and biscuits. So just in case their lawyers are reading this, let us state for blogger immunity's sake that this could be the work of some jealous competitor. You decide for yourself.

They charge extra for the ones with the insects.

Who in their right mind would eat that shite in the first place.

I am going to stock up my apartment with that shit. If it's good for the bugs it's good for me. Besides, it's a sure sign that the food is not poisoned.
