The MC Hammer School of English

This cute little video is from an English teacher in Taiwan who came up with a way to teach his kids English... the MC Hammer way. We wish school was this fun for us, and hopefully the clip will inspire all TEFL teachers out there. From Daryl Caesar:

The final performance is here! The kids were totally petrified, and performed way worse than the rehersals, but what can I expect from 5 year olds dancing and singing in another language. The best part is at 1:57. These kids have no shame. Keep in mind there were a couple hundred well-to-do parents in the audience. It's not cheap to send your kids to English schools in Taiwan. But now they can rest easy knowing their money is being well spent. Haha, like on the costumes for example...

Check out the kids in rehearsal here. Who knows, one of them will turn out to be the next MC Qiangqiang!

That is just amazing. Those kids sure have the dance moves... Somehow I doubt I could get my graduate students to do that.
