The DJ with the fast fingers is Jeff Milligan and if you like him you can see him live at Air Bar this Saturday. His website says:

Jeff's highly technical, three/four turntable style put him in high demand across North America and by the age of twenty, Jeff was playing the Midwest circuit (Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland etc.) and nationwide, all over Canada. Jeff is legendarily regarded by his contemporaries as one the most technically talented DJ's in the world.

Indeed, if you download the 2.5 pages of riders for his standard performance contract you'll see that 2 of those pages relate solely to the set-up of his DJ booth and turntables.

Milligan will headline at the 'microair' party this Saturday night. He is supported by DJs tootekool (micro's founder), Ben Huang and Micrometropolice. 'micro' was the first minimal house/techno platform in Shanghai. Like other local promoters such as Antidote, Bananas and Uprooted Sunshine, micro has garnered a loyal following due to repeated successful parties. The event is almost guaranteed to be well remembered, thanks also to the extra 4 speakers and 2 bass - hired to make sure Milligan's fancy finger work doesn't go unheard.

This party on the rooftop of Shanghai with a outdoor terrace is set to be one of the last big parties to end the summer. That's why it's also a chance to say farewell to DJ Micrometropolice. Those who know him will know that in just 1.5 years in Shanghai he's been behind many of the electronic parties that became the talk of town.
