Part of the problem (when I was choosing photos) is that not all of these great photographer's photographs have 'shanghaiist' tags -> which is a tacit approval for the site to use the tagged photos. Unfortunately for Shanghaiist photography fans, HWF, LifeMage & MonkeyKing rarely (if never) tag their photos with 'shanghaiist'.
