America's Next Top Model's China episodes

We have a confession to make: We have been known to watch the occasional episode of America's Next Top Model. Odd that while living in America we refused to watch trashy American reality shows (other than The Real World, which we allowed in on a grandfather clause) and now that we live in China and own a Filipino TV satellite (that we won't shut up about) we seemingly can't get enough of them. What can we say — this place makes you do strange things.

Anyway, while those in the Philippines watch ANTM's eighth season, the show's ninth season was wrapping up stateside (the season finale just aired last week). So why should you care? Well, you still probably shouldn't, but the final four episodes of season nine took place in Shanghai and Beijing. There was probably news about them filming in Shanghai this summer, but we didn't hear about it (we were probably watching golf or something).

All of the episodes are available in multiple parts on YouTube, and we have embedded all the China episodes in this post after the jump.

Featured in the Shanghai episodes: Le Royal Meridien (where the girls stayed), modeling agency PT Models, fashion designers Lu Kun, Stephen Peng (from House of Mercury), Flora Zeta, Helen Lee and Fiona Vong, and, of course, Bund club Attica. Oh, you might see a few shots of the Pudong skyline at night, too. Just a few.

We were most excited, though, to see our friend Fiona Peng (Shanghai-based handbag designer and daughter of Stephen) in this segment.
