Ack! The Shanghai World Expo mascot is multiplying!

scaryexpomascot121807.jpgWe want some of whatever this guy is smoking:

"Haibao is a jolly, confident and cute kid," said Shao Longtu, 62, CEO of the Jiumuchuansheng advertising company and head of the mascot design team.

"Using a human being as a mascot reflects the spirit of human-orientation, while the color blue stands for water, sea, the Earth, life, dreams, the future and technology," Shao said. ...

"The mascot is a perfect match for the emblem. It also deepens the Expo theme 'Better city, better life'," Shao said.

Also, Haibao stamps and merch are available for mocking purchase starting today. The perfect holiday gift for the relatives you hate!

Real transcript: "Haibao is a jolly, confident and cute kid. If you get too close, he will sneak into your rectum and multiply in your lower intestine. Once he gets older, he will be less cute. He will feed on your meals and breed thousands of xiao haibao, which will routinely be reminded who is daddy with ritual beatings. The color blue, although appearing to represent everything, represents nothing. It IS the color of your steady stream of vomit. This confident kid will continue to multiply (beatings will also continue) for about two years by which time your body will have been consumed. In 2010 they will exit your rotting roader corpse through your nose."

BTW, where can I buy these products?
