<description>&lt;p&gt;The World Wildlife Fund is actually backing coal use for the next 50 years or so - I think if Chinese power plants were to install scrubbers there could be a significant reduction in pollution.

Tiger Leaping Gorge IS spectacular, by the way. I didn&apos;t mourn that much when the 3 Gorges Project went up - well, at least not for the scenery (millions of displaced people aside) - because the 3 Gorges was always overrated.

But TLG is fantastic. And an easy getaway from Shanghai.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
