Reminds me of the time I got stuck on Superman the Ride (front row) at Six Flags Great Adventure. We dangled there for about 10 minutes flapping our limbs around.
What did I do? Smoked a cigarette while I waited. A pimple faced ride conductor actually walked up the stairs on the side of the track and told me I shouldn't smoke. I told him we shouldn't be stuck here either.
